A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, he moved to the United States in 1997 where he became interested in the field of physical therapy after suffering various sports-related injuries playing competitive soccer. As an athlete himself, he is well educated on developing treatment programs to both rehab existing injuries and prevent future injuries. Dr. Immerman has worked in the realm of orthopedics and sports physical therapy for his entire career. He has vast experience working with professional, semi-professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes with an emphasis on various sports and orthopedic-related injuries, performance enhancement, as well as the treatment of acute and chronic spinal injuries. With a unique blend of hands-on manual therapy and strength training, he is focused on developing an individualized and effective plan of care for his patients.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Immerman enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife and two amazing children, traveling, and staying active.
